Governor Baldacci is asking Mainers join his family in voting No on Question 1

My sister, Sharon, got a GOVT robo-call from Governor John Baldacci. Here's what he said:

Hello, this is Governor John Baldacci. Today's Election Day. And, I hope you'll join my family in voting No on Question 1. Let's make sure all Maine families have equal protection under the constitution. And, the only way to do that is to vote today and to vote no on 1. Thank you very much.

Governor Baldacci signed the marriage equality law last May. For the past couple weeks, he's been all over the state campaigning for our side. He's done interviews, including Rachel Maddow, and given pep talks to the volunteers. He's been just great.

Rex Wockner's house got one, too.

Also, Open Left's Adam Bink saw the Maine Secretary of State on the noon news predicting turnout will be around 50%. His earlier prediction was 35%.
