Don't forget November 20th is the 11th annual International Day of Remembrance for our transgender community. I know civil rights for our LGBT community started with those in the transgender community who didn't have the luxury of hiding in the closet. I urge Americablog Gay readers to show solidarity and attend an event in your location of the world.
Go the International Day of Remembrance site to look up the location of the nearest event, so we can be there to show our support and respect for members of our community who have lost their lives in our struggle for equality.
