Progress in DC: City Council will vote on Marriage Equality

Via Twitter from Michael Crawford, progress in DC:

RT @DCforMarriage: The DC marriage bill has passed in committee! Now it goes to the full council.
The next step is first vote by the whole City Council vote, which should take place on December 1st. The Council will then take a final vote a couple weeks later -- and the Mayor will sign it.

Remember, Congress loves to interfere in D.C.'s laws, so the marriage equality law could become an issue on Capitol Hill.
