What’s more, the issue of same-sex marriage is about people. Not the internet or the iphone. And when it comes to people, there is nothing new under the sun. What would be new is the recognition of their proper rights.

What it really boils down to is that the opponents of equal civil rights for LBGT focus on the sex and ignore the people, their character and their relationship. How else can you explain how they can oppose Jim Nabors or ‘Lieutenant Zulu’ getting married and have no problem with mass murderer Ted Bundy’s marriage? If Charles Manson wanted to get married and could find a woman daft enough to marry him, this would be fine with them because it is ‘traditional’. To me, that kind of outcome (Charles Manson can marry, George Takei cannot) is totally messed up. And the law does have to be cognizant of the outcome it reaches in society or you end up with stupid sh-t like 3/5 ths of a person and such.

Why is it, that on an iPhone, “Daily Show” clips always play perfectly while “Colbert” clips always get an error message, regardless of what site is posting them?
