Gay romance “Brotherhood” wins top Rome film fest prize

Okay, I don’t know what to think about this one.

Brotherhood, the debut feature from a former fashion photographer turned filmmaker, has won the top prize at the Rome International Film Festival….

Winner of the festival’s Golden Marc’Aurelio Jury Award for 2009, the film explores a surprising love affair that develops between two men who are members of a violent neo-Nazi group.

I’m liking the idea of “the surprising love affair,” but let’s hope the lover boys have a huge recognition role reversal about their incompatible fascist leanings by the end of the film. I’m very curious, and want to see this one.
