Beautiful vintage gay photos

This site has collected a ton of old gay photos (and some that might just be friendly foreigners, hard to say). They’re very cool. (H/t to, some of the pics come from there as well.)

    That made me smile.

My partner and I enjoyed seeing these vintage photos whether or not they were all ‘couples’. I hate to harp on this, but the 1955-Present group was virtually lacking in men of color except for a Chinese couple and maybe some Latinos. My partner is African-American and this underrepresentation within the current gay community at large is a rather sore point.

Wonderful pictures. They point out something that groups like the FRC can or will never understand – we are part of a continuum that stretches back through the history of mankind.

I have a very cherished possession. It’s a photograph of my late husband and me shortly after we met. I have my arms around him, and he’s resting his head on my shoulder.
