McCain wants troops to, in essence, vote on whether to repeal DADT

Not their decision.  And under no other circumstance would McCain propose something so dangerous as to let individual US service members vote on whether or not they agreed with their commanders.  McCain is such a shell of his former self, it’s almost embarrassing.  During the campaign it wasn’t clear if McCain’s sudden lurch to the right was a tactic or simply senility.  Well the campaign is over, and the lurch is still there.  You do the math.
